Thanks for all the help as usual here. Problem sorted. Pretty sure I didn't screw the tank down far enough onto the coil, letting juice seep past the threads. Operator error. Not the first, or last time. Did notice whilst searching the Aspire forum threads for a solution, that Aspire recommend a maximum 70/30 PG/VG for these coils. Never seen it anywhere else.

Well that's maybe what Aspire recommend but I'm running my Nautilus and the Kabuki on 50/50, and some juices are higher in VG- a lot depends on how much power you stick through them-I tend not to go above 4.0 volts.

. Been running it at 4.4 volts on the standard vv battery. Stuck it on the Subox and get 10.5 watts, so pretty close.

4.4 volts is too high, IMO.

Now it's full of my minty early morning juice, so 4 volts should be fine. I'll play about a bit.

I've found that the 1.8 ohm coils like more power...don't get twisted up in the numbers...vape to taste.

Definitely this. We all like different things. I vape higher Watt than many people do but I like it that way. Find what you like for a tank and juice and vape ya heart out.
