    Thanks guys

Just to follow up on your replies, I had a look at the MVP 20 watt - looks good. Can you tell me what the main differences I would experience between getting a 20W or 30W? It seems that the MVP 20 watt is available now and the iStick30 I would have to wait for. Is that 10W worth the wait and if so what would I gain.

Also does anyone have any thoughts in the Clouder Mini 30W?

    cheers

    Jimmy

    Lots of people do lol.
I sold mine just before the shit storm reached it's peak, not because of the issues some have had, I sold mine because I didn't like the slightly raised 510.

10w is quite a noticeable difference but if you only vape below 20w it might be an unnecessary 10w.
    I believe E-Cighealthy have the iPV 30w for 2000B

Yeah, stay far away from them! They've exhibited a tendency to burn up...see this section of forum for 4 threads on this subject.
If you're going with a Mini-Nautilus, it doesn't vape well over about 13 watts so you'll have no issues. The higher power comes in handy if you're planning on making your own coils and/or going sub-ohm...then you'll no doubt want the higher power.

But since 1 mod is never enough (got to have backups for the backups), the MVP is good starter mod that can become the backup when you move on...

    Hi Sam

I was wondering, you mentioned that the Mini doesn't do well over 13 watts. Is this info from Aspire or from experience? I was looking at some charts (one attached) that say going over 8.45 Watts on a 1.8 ohm will start to burn out.....So in a nutshell, I am a bit confused and concerned about burning out coils too quickly by "amping" up the MVP beast too high. What are your thoughts on these charts?

    Cheers

It's mostly from my own experience...my sweet spot for my Nauts & Mini-N's is between 10.5 to 11 watts, or approx. 4.7-4.8 volts. There are others on here who vape at higher wattages but I get good flavor & vapor at 11 watts. According to Aspire, the 1.8 ohm BVC coil is rated from 3.3 volts to 6 volts...or 6 watts to 20 watts. The table above was probably created before the BVC coils appeared...they're capable of taking more power than previous iterations...YMMV

For me with the better stock coils on the newer tanks they are being designed to take a little more power than the older ones. The above is a good starting point to experiment from and find your preference. Just my opinion and bear in mind that I haven't used a clearo for over a year now so really I have no idea. lol

Gotcha - thanks for that guys.

My first BVC started tasting dry / burned after a week so I guess I need to order more - I was going up to 15 watts when drinking though - needed that hit....

    Cheers
