I've never had any luck with DHL, only received non-vaping items through them and it seems like they hand deliver them to the customs office to get taxed since on numerous occasions I opted for regular shipping from the same vendor and never got taxed..

DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc., all have their own "arrangements" with TH Customs (or a captive agent)...which costs them money (and of course, costs us money, too). There's always a price to pay for quick delivery!

If the imported value is a setang over THB 1000, you can expect to pay VAT (at a minimum) and a 'customs clearance handling charge' from the carrier. ;)

Thread reminded me that I'm down to my last ten Nautilus coils. Re ordered, no problem.
No details on open thread, but can pm me if you want @suudlor .

Your reply came with perfect timing as my placed order with gearbest has just been canceled due to lack of supply from the manufacturer, thanks. Which shipping method did you use?

It varies by vendor, as they have a lot, but usually china post or hong kong post.

I also have not had any problems--my last few orders have been through 3fvape using NL post---- however, a buddy of mine here in CM told me had an order of coils that didn't make it through.

Slightly off-topic, but since you are talking about Gearbest, do you know if we can do the paypal/fasttech trick there? (select shipping to my euro paypal address, then cancelling the order after paypal payment, reordering with the thai address and paying with the refunded amount)

Oops, I may have missed a step, I could not change the address after the purchase, so I had to create a ticket for them to do it.

Is it confirmed that ordering a Mod from a website like 3fvape or gearbest is more likely to be confiscated than coils or an atty?
