So I just received my 2nd Storm-A and the quality is not as good sadly.

Here are the immediate differences I saw when unpacking

    1) airholes bigger. Good :)
    2) airholes wonky. Not so good :(
    3) AFC ring does not fit as flush on inner topcap. A much uglier look.
    4) Insulator around positive post is not fitted properly. The wider bit is about 3mm too high and there is 3mm of narrower bit showing. Its gonna be a lot closer to the coils.
    5) Outside of atty has a couple of large scratched areas. Again ugly.

In the pics with both, the new one is on the right.

    Thank you for the offer.

I will contact you by email.

I will also add that the problem with the insulator is not as bad as I first thought. I will ask Admin to change the post above.

    - - - Updated - - -

Took out the insulator and compared it to the insulator from 1st stormA.

The height of the bit sticking out is actually similar on both. It is just that the insulator shape is different so it appears to not be fitted properly.

Insulator1 > wide section is several mm thicker than insulator 2.

So in short I do not think this is an issue.

VM/Ryan - pls can you change my post above as it doesn't seem fair on the vendor

I received the Tobeco Origen Clone in error so Big is kindly replacing it for the Storm-A that I ordered. The Tobeco was excellent quality though and after reading what you wrote Panga, maybe I shoulda kept it. lol

Hey Big, I hope the Storm-A you've sent me is the same quality as Panga's first buy. :)

My two seem like they were made by different manufacturers. Weight is also different. I think from visuals that they are different grades of SS. Think either V2 is a clone of V1 OR Orieco decided to make v2 a lot more cheaply.

Building it now & will see how it vapes.

I think that the factory produces too quickly. Can not inspect every piece.
I check the volume of the rest of the hair. Most remained as good as the first lot.

    It sure is Panga.

I just built a single 1.1 ohm coil for my Storm-A tonight. I'm a virgin to dripping so I wanted to take it easy to pop my cherry and the only 6mg juice I have is MBV Extreme Ice. Man! Do you guys remember your first time vaping a dripper? I couldn't believe the amount of vapor and the intensity of the menthol taste that it produced. Following this I took a few tokes on my trusty vv v3/mini tank that I keep filled with the Extreme Ice and I can't even taste any menthol from it any more. I'm really impressed with dripping but I don't think this old guy could handle more than an hour of this a day let alone going sub-ohm. :vaping::vaping::vaping:

Yes I do remember my first time using a dripper. Igo-L about 1.8 ohm microcoil on an itaste vv. I just sat back and marveled after I took the first hit.

I mostly use a tank (Kayfun or Taifun) in the day and drip after work. Increasingly I have a little drip in the morning and on my lunch-break too these days. I definitely like very different juice flavors on a dripper vs a tank.

Glad it worked out well for you mate :very good:

Gotta say that after a week. My 2nd one is pretty much the same as the first one vape-wise.
