Nearly had a meet the other night. 2 gents at the bar sporting nice box mods. Blue LED display but couldn't figure out what they were. Kayfun style tanks on top. One of the other guys had a pen style mod on a lanyard. Unfortunately they moved on before we could compare notes.

Come across the odd e-cig guy here but not so common.

I will hopefully make a meet at some point.

 

Happy to hear that Mash, I think it's a fair price too for an upscale venue like this. Anyway, I was down at Central a few nights ago trying to cool off from all this heat we've been having. I was on Level 3 and went outside to have a vape in the smoking area. I was looking around and I saw this big terrace area but I couldn't figure out how to get there. I went back inside and realized that going through the restaurant was the only access.

A pretty, young waitress greeted me and I told her I just wanted to check out their terrace bar. She was kind of puzzled when I asked if they allowed vaping so I pulled out my little lightsaber from my shorts and blew a few small clouds to show her what I meant. I told her a couple of farangs from Bangkok and maybe 4 local farangs all with tools bigger than mine would be blowing the same kind of vapor . . . . not a problem she told me, "you're all welcome."

 

So can we all agree that Food Loft on Level 3 on the terrace at Central festival pattaya is the place for the meetup ?

I'm wondering why the Poll is closed and only 4 committed to attend.
Is that Ryan, Sean, mash and myself? What about you Wut? And petewan?

I would have thought there were more members living in Pattaya.

I've also met at least 4 non-member Pattaya residents when I've visited Wut's shop and they all follow the forum for help and information. Would the invitation to attend the Meet-up extend to them too? Don't see why not, we're all fellow vapers after all.

 

I only opened the poll for a week or two, whatever it was, just to see if there was any interest. Now that we have a date and time locked down, I'll open another thread on it.

I paid Wut a visit at his shop today and he told me he'd try his best to be there.

 

It's been quiet on the meet-up this past week . . . . it's still on for next Saturday, right?

I paid the Food Loft a visit this evening just to check how it would be at 5pm. Plenty of tables open and it was really terrific up there. It reminded me of Hong Kong, Singapore and with a little bit of Waikiki thrown in. a perfect venue.

Now I know why the waitress wasn't phased or impressed over my SVD, they rent shi-sha and I'd love to see you cloud makers blow them away. I took a pic of a young group of Thai kids enjoying themselves. Oh, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful.

Where is Wut's shop by the way.

I thought I had posted this before....

Would be great to meet up with some vapers in Pattaya, but I am away this weekend... If anyone is around the lake in the coming weeks, drop me a message - especially if you want to teach me how to wrap coils properly!
