The last thing you want is a female companion that vapes...sure, it sounds good but when your juice starts disappearing and your favorite mod is now her favorite mod sh*1 gets real :angel and devil:

I wonder why they changed the screen? Probably cheaper but nobody has anything complimentary to say about the mirrored plate.

Yep wish they'd have used the screen like that picture, I hate the mirror one and Phil as already started to complain

Hoping when Phil does his review and rips it to bits for having such a crap screen in the production unit compared to the Pre production unit, Pioneer4You might actually listen and might bring out a version 2 with the pre production screen on it...
    So I think I'll wait....
Don't let us down Phil if you're reading...:)

Be interesting to see how Sigelei counter.

It's so stupid that they released this as it is. They must know as every 'review' has mentioned the dim screen.
The charger port issue all over again as well.
    The manual.
I think they need a reshuffle at boardroom level lol

One thing that this brings up-when a mod only comes with a 'data' cable supplied -is it safe to use a generic USB to wall socket from any mobile type device and charge in the power plug?
Or, are you risking the batteries in doing so?

The USB for this is the same as the iPV3, for firmware updates only.
Again, they have gone for a 9v charger but not supplied one.
There are concerns when charging batteries in series that they will charge unevenly, possibly with one (maybe both?) overcharging and damaging the batteries.
I know YiHi have a balanced charging board and assume it is present in the iPV4 as it's a series mod. It's concerning that there seems to be no faith in it whatsoever lol.

I consider Sigelei and Pioneer4U to be direct rivals (I had heard they were both owned by Greenleaf. Not sure if there is any truth to that).
Sigelei's mods are not perfect but they are more reassuring than P4U's in the high power range.

The iPV3 shipped with a touch sensor that wasn't even connected and a 9v charge port that you "must never use". They then blocked the port and finally removed it but I think the touch sensor was always present.
That makes them look shady in my eyes. How simple would it be to change the enclosure to not have the touch sensor there? I can't imagine it's cheaper to have it there.

    Anyway, rambling on...

So, to confirm--one should NOT use a generic USB to Power socket adaptor to charge devices when only supplied with what looks like a data cable--is this what you guys are saying?
I have done this, in the past--based on the fact that most Ego type devices could be charged both by the USB to PC method and also by attaching the same USB cable to a power socket adapter--should I NOT do this with, say, Eleaf ISticks, IPV minis and so on??

The guy who likes to use the word "mothxxfuxxxx" about 10 times per review says it vapes the same as the Yihi Mini M,hmm? The dim screen may well be a deal breaker for me though. I have 2 x IPV mini 30w and both have hard to see screens. What is really strange is that the screen is clear and bright when the fire button is pressed and super dull when trying to adjust the menu, they could at least have made it the other way round, who needs a bright screen when it's firing..

I think the device itself will set the charge rate so if you use a 2A Samsung charger the device will only charge at 1A (if that is what it is rated for).
