    These stories are so full of manure. It's obvious he was using a model rocket engine instead of a battery. The physics involved in this story are, dare I say, impossible? Or maybe there's a new cold fusion powered 18650 that I'm unaware of.

    Let me clarify my comment just a little. According to Newton's Law, for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. Let's take a look at a simple device that produces explosions. A gun. The bullet moves very quickly in one direction because the blast from the explosion pushes against the very well sealed back of the chamber and the bullet travels in the opposite direction down the open end of the barrel. If we were to leave both the chamber and the barrel open or not sealed well, what do you think would happen to the bullet? If both ends of the barrel and chamber were equally "open" you would get the effects of the explosion from both ends but the bullet would not move. This is the extreme end of the example and the bullet probably would move toward the end of the barrel but definitely with no force worth mentioning. The potential power contained in an 18650 is very large and a full vent could be very violent but firing the 18650 across the room?

    The Nautilus Mini was released in Q3 2014 so it predates the ban. However, I think they're more interested in the mod, not the tank. It may be a potential defense if you can prove that your mod was released before the ban...but the BiB wouldn't care...only a judge as @lordofthedread stated.

    This is the latest...stealth vaping if you venture out in public. Keep your gear well hidden (not in your pocket) in case you get stopped at a checkpoint. :(

    So if a local police guy is Vaping and not to worried about the current situation is it a bit of a relive? Maybe just for the family of the guy i suppose. It's maybe like, moment i call my unkel and you can talk to him....

    The other story from the other forum is a classic and folks still ignore thr warning not to bang their mod into the mouth and brake teeth and the jaw.

    This is and will always be the case in LOS, if you are well connected and know the right people you don't have to worry but since the sentences are so high I would not play around with fire personally. Especially at the beginning since they will want to make examples....

    The current enforcement action is being spearheaded by the BiB. I imagine that at Swampy, it's business as usual for the Customs folks.

    I did hear from a friend that one of his friends had his ecig confiscated recently at Swampy...but he was carrying it in full view as he passed through Customs...idiot!! o_O

    If I were a Thai BIB, I wouldn't be worried about vaping either. Unfortunately, I don't think I could pass for a Thai, much less a BIB.
