1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Personally never had any problems buying gear from dnavapors or thaivapeshop ,there are a couple of others as well but haven't used them myself.

Also used both dnavapers and Thaivapeshop several times. Never had any problems with either of them. I've also used about a dozen other Thai vape retailers without a single problem except for one who was busted by the BiB on the day I transferred 6500 Baht. My whole order was taken for the policemen's benevolent fund. But the chap was very honourable and gave me a full refund the next morning.

Well that’s another successful exit and re-entry a week later with vape gear. Still no problems and no apparent increase in security. Again I didn’t travel through Donmuang tho.

Dude, sorry for being a pain iya, they WILL screen your carry-on luggage, they could/probably WILL check you’re other luggage... don’t take a chance!

Either mail your precious vape gear, or take a break on sm.. sorry Vaping or buy new gear if you stay long-term. You guys are acting worse than tobacco smokers. It is not the end of the world to seize some vaping. C’mon, keep Vaping, but don’t lose any sleep about it, being healthy is ok, right?

Buy gear and keep it safe at THAT PLACE if you travel often to THAT place. If you can’t afford it, that’s ok, don’t vape.

Good way of relieving vapers tongue is to take a short break, if you can’t live without, SEND via post - worldwide or buy new. It is better than a fine, fee of jail.

Thailand government is tightening the nut on what they perceive is illegal! Whether right or wrong, vape on but be cool, man... and don’t stress, life is ok, with or without Vaping.

This was not only directed to Fastoche, but everybody else worried about taking their vape gear thru airports. I was lucky enough to push through Swampy and Dmk with random mixing with shavers, jet tooth cleaners, toys, etc. a week ago. A family of four. Would never attempt this with only wifey.

Would I want to go through the stress again? No man, simple answer.

Can I ask, how did you pack your vape gear before going through security at BKK?

I travelled with a simple mod and tank. Took the tank off. Put it in one pocket of my back pack. Put the mod in another pocket next to my power bank and put the battery in another pocket.

Well having read this Thread thouroughly, the last few hints, how to be to enter the country without problems and still have the chance to vape was really the one and only solution, just let the good stuff be sent to your "home" or "Hotel" address by a local shop. I wonder, why this solution just came up now and not already in the beginning? In my point of view this solves all the problems, not to speak "saves my life" ;)

Many of us live here and or travel in and out constantly or travel around the country for work and buying gear every time isn’t really feasible. If you’re coming as a tourist then that’s the best option for you so absolutely that’s the way to go.

Just keep everything in your pockets. They don't check them. "Wink"

Except when you set off the metal detector thing... and then you take out a mod and put it on a table in front of everyone?

Yes, and then you just say "I just don't how it got there! It is not my pocket, khrap". Problem solved.

Good point. Everybody's situation is certainly different and so are their needs or level of addiction.

We drove all the way to Phayao over the weekend for 4 nights and I, this time, deliberately did not take my vape gear as personal test. Short story, was ok survived definitely better than when I was addicted to the cancer sticks, but I know on the 5th day He created vaping and was happy to be back home again to clear 2 tanks full immediately. Will do it again, it does clear the system a bit..

The moral is I think we must be sensitive that we are all not the same (thank God) and support each other's complaints, concerns and needs. But also expect people to be sensible as well.

Exactly my point. You don't go through a metal detector when you enter the Kingdom.

Obviously you do when you depart.
