Proposed Thai Laws for Vaping in Thailand

This is my main concern, to stay on the right side at all time... But it is actually the reason why I feel very confused now: what is the official rule to follow? As per my understanding, the law is still banning the importation of e-cig in the official text... Is there a new text which came out officially to justify some arrests of people just using vape gears?

In case this rule has already come in official text, then I am going to stop vaping immediately!

 

I think I will wait a while on quitting on vaping. Till the time they declassify meth. Then slowly and gradually I will shift from vaping to swallowing meth tablets. I do need some kind of recreation during these tough times and I definitely trust the Honorable Justice Minister. If meth is less harmful ................ bring it on!

 

At Samui the Law always arrives at least 5 Years later than elsewhere in Thailand so i don't care

 

What a mess this country can be with some things...guess I'll just have to be a little more discreet.

 

If the BIB actually followed the letter of the law, how would the support their Giks?

In theory then, if you make your own device, it is not breaking any laws.

 

Maybe in theory. But remember that it was somehow already illegal to make and sell those mods in Thailand it was only possible for export. Please don't ask any details about this!

 

wow, this sucks. I'm traveling to Thailand for 3 weeks in August. From reading this thread, I think I'd be reluctant to carry my box mod with me while I'm out and about in Bangkok. I am/was bringing in 2 box mods for my sisters and now... well I don't feel good about it. Although I guess I can always show my laissez passer if I get hassle at the airport.

My younger sister is married to a cop, she vapes, said nothing about any of this new law when I talked to her couple weeks ago. And she knows I'm bringing her a box mod, wth. I think I'm gonna ask what she knows about this new law.

 

That is probabluy the biggest difference to Singapore, you'll know exactly what to do and not.

Oh bugger. Should probably not have assembled my mod and tripper after arrival outside of the terminal by the smoker section at the airport and vaping away while waiting to be picked up by my wife the other day. Only strange thing was i did not feel any odd looks from the local authorities but rather from other foreign travelers.Apologies about my behavior....
