Although this thread is about the Radius and we are digressing here I would like to give the following views I have.

Regarding TC I think we should get rid of Nichrome and Titanium and use Stainless Steel it works in TC and if it doesn't work you can use it in normal power mode too unlike the 2 previously mentioned.

However I, like others enjoy my kanthal. It works and is straight forward. I don't like fiddling with things too much and prefer to vape than spends loads of time on builds then not even get good results due to poor connection or the like.

I have nothing against TC just can't be bothered with it but I can see the logic with using Stainless steel as if it doesn't work in TC mode then it can work in power mode and I don't need to disassemble my build which I spent time making for nothing

 

Just read this thread from the beginning for the first time. Now I understand it (I didn't when I first looked, I hadn't even started vaping then). Right now I'm still experimenting with sub ohm vaping and rebuilding. I'm pretty sure I'll end up going for flavour though, with relatively high resistance/low wattage coils. Then I could definately see myself as a Provape customer. I love quality gear, when I can afford it, and can see the value, (Maglite, Leatherman Wave, Snap-On spanners). For now, the stuff from China is working and I'm content.

 

That is an very apt comparison Mick...I love my Snap-On gear, and the Radius gives off the same vibes
