I just checked them out, it came to 8978Baht. Apparently that code as already expired. They didn't have the bronze one either, but too be honest, almost 9000Baht, plus some customs tax is out of my price league.

Cheers Ryan, that was a nice offer.

Although, I am still undecided at the moment whether to get one or not. Decisions...Decisions...Hmmm
    :chinrub:

Also looks like Mr. Fruitie is offering too, and I would get it a bit quicker through him.
I can be a wee bit impatient and if I decide to buy it, want it ASAP...Lol

    Have a GREAT trip!

Maybe the code "damptøren" works for 10% off

    Really? You trust me?
....ooh, now this is beginning to sound like an offer I can't refuse.
I will have to do some serious thinking now.

If I go for it and if you were a girl, I would give you a big sloppy kiss!

Hell, I trust you too, mainly on account of if you don't pay me I can easily sell it for more.

Honestly though, I wouldn't get a Provari, they don't even have variable wattage. The SVD does and you can buy 4 of them for the same price. Then you'll have spare parts too!

Wait, 9000 baht? More like 8 SVDs.

It's sitting in the shopping cart right now and the Bronze Provari, with Red LED, and the 18500 extension end cap, incl shipping and minus the discount is coming out to $251 / 8045 Baht.

I usually don't use watts and stick to volts, so that doesn't worry me too much.

Aaarrgggghhhhh, I am the worst decision maker.

I saw that a bit too late, the code 'UKmule' also works for 10% off, cheers though :)

Before you jump on the Provari, I saw this on another forum:

    ProVari:
    Attach atty.
Check resistance: CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK (13 times).
    Wait 2 seconds
    Note coil resistence.
Add 2 to coil resistence to get rough estimate of target voltage.
Enter Voltage Up mode: CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK (5 or 7 times, depending on whether you need to adjust up or down).
    Wait 2 seconds.
Increase voltage: CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK ... until target voltage is displayed. If you overshoot, CLICK CLICK CLICK ...
    Wait 4 seconds.
    Vape.

    VW device:
    Attach atty.
    Vape.

The whole point of a regulated device is to regulate the power output. The unit of power is watts, so variable wattage just makes sense. It's more convenient and more precise. Variable voltage is antiquated and obsolete.

LOL, that was one of the main reasons I sold mine.
The menu just wasn't for me.
To turn it on and off was a hassle too...

Thanks for the insight Vapermorphs & Ryan, after having read that I am having second thoughts. I really do like to keep things simple, so now I am actually thinking now that a Provari is not for me.
    God I love this forum
    :thank you:

Also too be honest, I was kinda finding it hard justifying spending that much money. So, I have been looking around for other VV/VW devices and have come across the Smoktech Mini Zmax.

I was wondering if either of you know much about it.

I have found two Thai Vendors selling it, one is selling it for 2500Baht and the other is 2900Baht which I would be more inclined to go for because it includes the 18650 extension ring/cap.

I used Google Chrome to translate.

My mistake both prices were from the same vendor.

It looks good, but it has the one button just like the Provari, so it would be a pain to adjust. I like the RMS sampling in VW mode, that looks like a cool feature. Limited to the 18350 batteries is a deal breaker for me, I don't like carrying extra batteries with me.

Just get an iTaste VTR, you can handle the size.

Thanks for the recommendation Merangue! It looks good.
Although, I am looking for something that will also be compatible with the 7x batteries, 4x iclear30, 3x Protank II and Davide-S BDC that I stil have. Plus, I still have a load of coils.
    Cheers though.

I can handle the hassle of one button, but only because it is not costing me an arm and a leg like the Provari. Besides, it is two less buttons for me to break...Lol

Well, last night I stripped her down... . My SVD that is ;)
and I completely took her apart, cleaning all her threads, her connection thingamyjigs, inside the tube and all that with rubbing alcohol. This is the first time in 4 months that she has had a thorough cleaning.

Well, the cotton wool buds were black, she really had gotten quite grimy. So far so good, she has stopped switching herself off and I can taste my juices again.

I have just seen good reviews on the Smoktech Zmax Mini. I would get it with the 18650 extension cap as well though.

Although my SVD is working again, I do want another device, because I will be selling my MVP V.2 real soon.
Not too keen on box mods. Talking of which that VTR is too damn heavy! This girl can't handle the size of that thing

I agree with Ryan. Get the VTR.

A butch woman like you can handle it...plus you can use it as a knuckle duster for blokes that give you a hard time.

Oh sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you Mash. I have the Efest Luc Charger, should be a good one, it cost enough :)

I am happy to say that I have however now sorted out my SVD problems. I had neglected her and failed to do any real cleaning in the four months that I had her. I mean I wiped liquid away with a dry tissue and all that but this time I gave her a thorough cleaning with rubbing alcohol and I have nursed her back to health.

It's kind of embarrassing really when you think about it. I went and started a whole thread on how she's not working and all that and it's all because she was dirty...oops

Thanks for your help once again Ryan!

Well as you know, I listened to your advice and went and ordered one!
So now I know who to blame if I don't like it...hehe ;)

    Cheers
