He doesn't give any hint about the chip or details concerning tc but he was using it and didn't wanted to throw it in a bucket of water
So I'm confident that this is a real great mod! (please, please )

i think its wise dont buy the first edition of sigelei, usually they will have some problem and in short time they will release the perfect one. like 100 W - 100 W plus, 50 W - 50 W Vr2

 

I am unwise and have had one on preorder for about a month now. Sigelei have pushed back release twice now but I expect shipping in the next week or so. You are off course correct that it's often better to wait a while to buy until initial bugs are sorted.

 

I was hoping it had a Yihi chip, but didn't see the joules setting, so guess not.

 

There were rumours early on that it may be Yihi boarded but this is Sigelei's own chip in this one.

So the purpose of the two doors is to get the battery out? I still don't get it. If it is, what a pain in the arse. Not as bad as screws mind you but still.

Edit: Guess there's the possible reason to not only get the battery out but also to change colors.

Yeah, I think the reason for both is to accessorize. Hopefully Carlos Creations will sell 300 USD patina doors.

I see they have listed both the 150 and 75 at the same dimensions. 75w should be: 46mm x 33.5mm x 97mm
