Just a friendly additional note for any members here that aren't already aware, the Kayfun V4 also comes with a nice glass tank section that will not have any issues with tank-cracker juices or cross-threading.

I must say that I agree with Oil, although I don't have that many MTL tanks to compare-- I like the Erlkonigen, I 'quite' like my Kayfun v. 3.1 ( might have to get the Kayfun Nano that Scratchy recommended you Tommy, though) because my V 3.1 is not high on my list, just got a Hurricane ( not overly impressed but that could be my build) and got 2 Taifun GT ( V.1) and got a V 2 in the post-- but, out of all those, the Taifun wins hands down-- and the build quality is great, also-- much better than the Hurricane clone ( and the one I got was highly rated on FT)

Build quality and vape experience with my Hurricane clone (Tobeco not FT) is noticeably better than the Taifun GT clones I used to have (At least one was Infinite the other possibly Tobeco). With the latter, no matter what build and wicking I used, they always ultimately gurgled (some internal flooding while the Hurricane, even if sitting a couple days in changing temp conditions never has.

I'm kind of up in the air about the Hurricane vs KFV4 with flavor. I like the KFV4 better than TGTII but the Hurricane seems just about as good as the KFV4. Just perception mostly because I haven't done the same coil build with the same juice in a side by side comparison...so I cannot be very sure. Bottom line is they are both very good.

Where did you get your Tobeco Hurricane? And, do you prefer the KFV4 to the Kayfun Nano we talked about?

Got the Tobeco Hurricane at the local vendor in Phuket. Was a real surprise seeing it in one of his vape drawers!

I haven't used the Kayfun Nano but may have commented in a thread that it looked cool. :)

Tops in tanks so far for me with flavor is the Aromamizer RDTA and the Goblin Mini. I have the Cthulhu V2 and UD Bellus drying and will build later. :)

No, I'm trying to move away from both Dual coils and anything that likes a low to sub Ohm build to bring out the flavor, trying not to need too high wattage, plus I'm trying to go back to MTL. Hence the interest in KF,Taifun and Hurricane-but, the FT Hurricane is a poor offering.

Goblin Mini supports single coil, no need for sub-ohm and surprisingly, it's pretty good closed down for MTL.

Bellus and Cthulhu also with single coil support but I haven't tried them so not sure about airflow.

Yes, I have both Goblin Mini and Bellus and use both with single coil grommet, pretty good-- had a couple of Cthulhu but they do not have any single coil option, maybe you mean the V.2 ?
None would be called MTL, though.

I think I might have got my Kayfuns confused, it wasn't the Nano that I was interested in, and thought that you had helped Tommy buy, it was the Kayfun Lite V.2 and, I think it was the Rev. who mentioned it being a nice tank. I dunno,I get a bit confused these days with all the Kayfun incarnations.

I keep seeing Gems up for sale, so maybe they're not so hot?

Never heard a bad word against the Taifun GT2, and it looks really good with a bell cap.
