Just a revisit of the Hurricane from Fasttech, after getting a fairly decent 1.2 Ohm build together in it, it has improved a lot and now works nicely for MTL- it's nothing like any of my Taifuns, both v1 and v2, but it's not as bad as I first thought, build quality is still probably one of the worst of all my tanks, though.
The Bellus, yes it does like to leak almost every time I refill it but not too much if I make sure the air flow ring is closed and very quickly turn it upside down, open the airflow and blow out any juice in the deck, then it settles down and doesn't leak again, it is a very airy tank, though, and needs to have the airflow almost closed-- which can be a pain because the air control ring is very loose and can be moved unintentionally.
The Bellus is a decent tank though.
Talking about tanks where the chimney can come undone when removing the base to refill, this always happens on my Morph tank, with the RBA section, no matter how tight I fit the chimney it always ends up remaining inside the upper chimney section when I unscrew the base to fill. Strange.

PBusardo really liked the authentic Hurricane and said it's fantastic for MTL but felt it too tight for direct lung. "Thumb's up, great tank" BTW, my Tobeco clone is easy to do direct lung so maybe it's more wide open than the authentic.

Apart from the 510 pin Vic seems to think so...

I've never seen, or even less, used the Mark Bugs version, but the FT one is pretty neat--and I think that is what he's reviewing--I did a hand Check with mine a while back.

Just to go back to my previous opinion, I actually bought the B version on FT, not really sure what made me put that one in the cart, especially since at the time it had no reviews and the other one had several positive ones, but that being said- apart from what Vic mentions about the short 510 pin, I would recommend anyone considering buying one gets the A version- the B version does not include a 'Dry Burn' attachment, which makes coiling a bit hit and miss, but having said that, on my second build I went with a 2mm diam. Coil using 28 gauge Kanthal, and it came out at 1.45 Ohms, and its very nice, the flavor is definitely intense, and with wicks cut like Vic suggests, it wicks very well. I have just ordered the A version, that's how much I like this tank- also, on my second build I managed to fix my previous problem whereby it would not read on any of my Mods except the iStick 40, now it works on all of them. Great little tank.

You might need to use the tape trick suggested by Vic--also, it was interesting to see him 'struggle' with getting his coil legs under the screw heads--I had a similar situation--nothing insurmountable, but required a couple of attempts for me, also; it's a lovely little tank, and the way it's put together [and here we really should pay some homage to the designer, Mark Bugs] the coil and wick tails sit right next to the juice intake holes, and the coils sit right under the chimney, and almost inside it--so, it can't help but give good flavour.

And, not to forget the price--around $20.00 only.

I have a friend who has a small machine shop in his garage (he builds diving air compressors from scratch) so will see if can knock me up a longer pin. And yes, you can't knock that price!

I still have an order coming by snail-mail from FT...once that finally gets here I'll start sorting out my next order [IMG]

What Postal option do you choose? I always click for 'Singapore Post' and it always gets here between 2-3 weeks max.

Yeah, I always use 'Singapore Post' as well...but took them two weeks to dispatch it for no obvious reason, and hasn't even appeared in Thailand yet...nearly a month already

Wow, they are normally very good- I used to think otherwise, but they seem about the best these days.

I am exclusively a MTL vaper and swear by my Kanger subtank mini. I actually use the second airflow hole, although I have replaced the tip with one of a smaller diameter. I get best results from a 0.5 ohm coil (SS TC mode), limited to 25w. Even thought it's TC mode, I find that increasing the watts too much causes a significant change in flavour as the temperature ramps up.

I received the GEM China copy two days ago.

Mine came with a long and short plus pin for choice.

I was extremely surprised about the build quality. The sand blasted surface, the way how the pieces fit together, everything is outstanding. A very nice surprise.

Surprise also with it being so small and lightweight. Appearance wise it beats the Kanger Subtank for sexy appearance.

However it leaks - no it oozes e-liquid from the air flow hole. So far I could not find out the reason for this. anyone an idea?
    **Updated**
    Minusses:
    - several different but similar looking rings that are harder to idendify first
    - initially confusing concept with a lot of screwing + unscrewing going on
    - two little o-rings on the top refill are a very pity solution
    **Updated**

    UPDATE

I solved the oozing issue. The flow holes for the e-liquid were not covered completely by cotton.

I actually followed the instructions given by Vic, and it did not work for me. I actually used a lot more cotton. Now the chamber is much more filled, ensuring there is always suffcient cotton on the sides to touch the 2 side flow holes.

I am running it now with a 0.69 ohm 28 ga SS3316L coil at 0.69 ohm using 15 W and 240 W. The flavour is - as what everyody said - outstanding. I have no other tank that comes anywwhere close. No trace of harshness, just smooth and rich Halo Tribeca. For the record, I tried the same flavour side by side as well on the Joyetech Mega, the Kanger Subtank Mini, and the Joyetech Cubis.

The low weight and the small size are great. Now I know the diference in between a top heavy set-up and a (for me) much more ergonomic setup. The mod should be the thing that "sits" in the hand, not the tank wanting to make it topple. The Kanger in particular feels like a roughly made, heavy piece and bulky item against it.

The tank is not without quirks:
    - It is not as easy to coil and wick as what it seems first.
    - The indention for the coil is to my opinion somewhat small. It should be an oval shape to sit a 6 wrap spaced coil comfortably. As it is now, it is more suited for compacted coils (which I don't use).
    - The assembly rings should be a little more knurled.
    - The air-flow control should have a position marking.
    - The two o-rings to seal the juice fillers are a pity. Actually the entire juice filling concept should be re-thought.
    - There should be no need to de-gurgle after refilling.

I would expect all the issues being adressed by a tank that costs Euro 200. But I can forgive these issues a tank I paid for a measily USD 19.99, and then one that is crafted so beautifully.

And the flavour coming from it make me forget all this. It is my tank.
