That's what thru me out at first...with a multimeter I was getting 0.5ohm but as soon as I tried it on the mod it said "No Atomiser"...then I found the 2nd o-ring on the coil...took that off and all back to normal.

Are you using a multimeter or a screw in ohm meter?

Screw in ohm meter and regulated mod checks out reading at 0.5ohm or 0.6 ohm using the No.2 base (with ring). But when I place the same coil or rba onto no.1 base (without ring), the reading will fly all over the place.

^^^ Have you tried completely removing the 510 connector/spring in the No. 1 base, cleaning and reassembling?

Try removing the o-ring from the second base and see what reading you get then

You can completely disassemble the base if needed

Ok thanks guys.. will try again to fiddle with it tonight. Will update later.
    **Updated**
Ok. I tried various ways to clean up the base again. Results still the same. somehow the No2 still gives the correct ohm reading. The base, like @Neilly mentioned does not come with the insulation ring. The ring belongs to the coil head.

My No 1 base still cannot give me the correct ohm reading despite having 1 ring on the coil head. The correct reading is given only for a few moments and than it will fly all the way to 2 or 4 and than drop to 1.5 than up again. Its all over the place... anyway I think the base might be at fault.
