1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.

Even at low wattage ? You should get a decent battery life out of it too.

Otherwise try to build a lower resistance coil, if you are now using a 2ohms for instance, try a 1.6ohms. I found my RTAs working better between 1 and 1.6ohms. I used them on top of a Hana DNA30 or a iVP2, vaping at 12watts maximum. It was very enjoyable.

battery life is good tibo but its just overpowered, its lowest setting is 7 watts and its just way to much, i can use 7 watts on anything, a 0.5 ohm dripper at 7 watts is cooking, seems the higher the ohm the lower it is,,,?

A .5ohms at 7 watts should give you around 1.7volt.. That is really low, I doubt you'll be actually vaping anything out of this.

The Nautilus Mini standard BVC are 1.8ohms if I recall correctly. What wattage do you vape on with the VTR and Nautilus Mini ?

on the VTR with the mini 8.5 or 9 watts is ok. on the ZNA 50 with a zenith with duel coils at 0.5 or even the orchid at 7 watts it's cooking, big time cooking, these same coils wont even work on the VTR maxed out with volts or watts

Sorry to read the problems, hard to work out why it's not working right as I found the chip to be actually good.
If you wanted it modding up with a DNA 40 chip or DNA 30 chip, all you need to do is buy the chip, send everything to me and I'd be happy to do the changeover for you....

@skeeters If you're looking to offload the ZNA (it's the cloupor right?) we might be able to come to some sort of arrangement.
Having owned one I am well aware of it's short comings but love the form factor still.

Shitty chip, doesn't regulate as advertized only as low as the battery voltage or not below 4.4v (one of those is accurate I wasn't able to get a voltage meter on it). For a lot of people it's not an issue but if you vape at low voltages it will be.
I only used it in 18500 mode, you could notice the vape drop off with the battery, the screen rarely reflects the output to the coil in my experience. Apparently it's a lot better in 18650 mode.
I probably would of kept mine if the enclosure wasn't in such poor condition.

Oh wow 4.4v minimum is indeed way too high !!!

Ok now I get it, that is clearly overpowered. Thanks for the details, Rick

I never noticed any problems vaping it with a 1.3 ohm coil and at 16 W...

Yeah, for people that vape at voltages higher than 4.4 there's not too many complaints. The majority of complaints are by people that vape at lower voltages. My complaint was that in 18500 mode the vape dropped along with the battery voltage and I was switching batteries. The batteries I switched were reading 3.7v still.
