Glad that it worked for you. I have people locally, when they see my Bellus, ask me the same question "Do you have problems with leaking?" It seems that this tank may be getting an undeserved reputation for leaking. I'm not sure what other peoples problems are, I can only speak for my self. If I wick it right and use the top fill only when empty, I have not had a leaking problem. As much as I love this tank, it has it own quirks just as all tanks do. But overall this is my tank of choice even with the quirks. If you want a tank with less quirks and almost as good flavor, look at the Goliath V1 or V2. I have the V1 and it is an excellent tank but has less airflow than the Bellus and no top fill. I think Haybilly has owned a Goliath V1 and currently has a Goliath V2 and a Bellus so maybe he can chime in on this one.

They may look quite ugly as I'm using a juice that tends to gunk coils and darken wicks but I'll try to remember next time I refill. Just did one late last night and before seeing your request.

Well, my thought is that, compared to many other tanks, it's much more prone to leak and weep. With many people reporting the same, it's a reputation that's at least somewhat deserved but the issue can be addressed either by using particular methods with filling or wicking. There are tanks that are almost idiot proof and worry free. This is not one of them yet it's still a very good tank and for flavor better than many.

The Bellus is definitely not idiot proof and does take a little more effort than many other tanks to prevent issues. But I remember the day when the Kayfun was new and people had many problems with it until they figured out how to work out the issues. At the pace things are moving now, the Bellus will be old news next month and the latest and greatest will take it's place. I have yet to find the perfect tank (for me anyway). Each one has it's pros and cons.

Don't have the weeping issue but that may be due to chain vaping? It does leak a little on a refill though. It didn't leak with a single coil build.

Single coil with the plug probably helps reduce potential for leaks. I noticed it after filling and sometimes after picking up. Never gushing out or drips after sitting. More like small amounts immediately on or near edging of the venting on the afc ring.

Glad I found this thread. I have my Bellus arriving next week. Looks like I may have my work cut out trying to get the wicking right. Took me ages with the zephyrus but got there in the end. Hopefully I will get the Bellus sorted quicker.

Moment ago I saw a couple very small blobs of juice right along the seam below the airflow grating. The seam between the bottom ring and the AFC ring. Popped out the coil section and here's what my wicking looks like. I believe slightly shorter than my previous. I may try longer than previous next time.

Still waiting for the tank delivery at home, so not yet tested myself but... In the video explaining that air holes should be kept closed during refills, the guy also explained that the wick should be made of Japanese cotton and very very small compared to other buildings: on the video, the wick ends are approx 2-3 mm out of the coil

I extend my wicks just a little more than that. It seems to make the difference. I am going to rebuild today so I will try and post a picture of what mine looks like.

Cool and thanks @Lotta . My previous build which leaked more than my current had them a little longer than what I pictured but definitely not as long as those in the FT-linked pictures.
