Even if they are rewraps or not, They are still Good battery's! I just fukd mine up with some ruff handling when I was using the elfest charger and not the USB. Anyways thanks again..

Batteries will wear out over time, it's to be expected. My sonys seem to take longer to charge and less vaping time. However for me personally, only a subjective measure, as I change watts, coils etc frequently and recently using dual coil setup which uses more electrons.

Ruff handling you can fix, by using care. That's user error, not a technical problem anyone here can fix or help you with.

Cables getting mixed up you can fix by labelling your cables. As said already charging only cables are usually thinner. Better quality charging cables, and cables with data are generally thicker.

Short lived batteries you can fix by buying better batteries.

If you want to charge batteries faster, then don't charge on USB. My nitecore D4 has built in adapter mains to charging voltage, and will charge at 3/4 amp on lion batteries (split across batteries being charged). My xtar needs an external 5v adapter and reckons it'll charge up to 1A (not sure, but I think this is per battery, so needs 2A 5V supply)

I don't know what charger is included in the mods, I'd suspect 0.5 amp, as that's max draw on a USB2 port.

Also, charging on USB depends on a) what the mod will use amp wise and b) what the supply will provide amp wise.

And actually with 18650s just buy more cells, then there isn't really a problem with how long they take to charge. If you have 4 batteries already charged, then just charge each one as it goes flat and rotate them. And so on ...

s regards the governing factor, that's what I said wasn't it ... Obviously you can't charge @ 1A off a 250ma supply ... But with OP asking about charging lions at 12V, for faster charging, I can see why you clarified that !

Personally, I prefer a charger that has a mains power brick...the XTAR SP1 is a great little charger (and the one I travel with).

LoL, yup, always seems to end up there after the fray, I blame cultural differences

I might get another xtar, the same one as you have, it has a more detailed display, the newer one, well I reckon they added a plus to the name and took some features out, and charge more money !

Bricks have their pluses and minuses, I bought my nitecore d4 before I started vaping ... But I love that it's self contained and will charge 4x 18650s at the same time ... Plus my xtar didn't come with wallwart, so had to buy that seperate ...
