how about some chill out bars like the Det5 on Sukkhumvit soi 8?
>> nice and friendly place, convenient location, good food & beverage, great music but not too loud (I'm sure you know what I mean... better to go somewhere were we can chat without having to scream, isnt?). many tables on the terasse, pool table inside and outside... even got a mini-foot.

otherwsie, there are some bigger places like WaterSide on the outskirts of BKK. There it's possible to arrange bookings but the location isfar less convenient.

Ok so sensible head on, let's put our names down and where we are based. If we are having food is there any preference? If you want a decent pub, then I would recommend The Huntsman, The Bulls Head and the newest pub in town is The Red Tiger. I don't think we need a specific room rented out, just a big table.

Well, I'll throw in my 2 cents. I live near Victory monument, and there's a really chill bar right around the corner from the century movie complex called Baan Bar(right next to/before the King Power, duty free shopping complex). Smoking inside is ok, so vaping definitely is. The upstairs acts as a kind of art gallery/larger group area. Good Thai food, a few decent western food choices. Next door is a restaurant called Seasoning, if you want more western food.

I vape in this area openly all the time and nobody hassles me, except maybe to ask what it is out of curiosity.

Another option could be the open market area by the On Nut station. They have quite a few bars there, one of which serves the dark beer lao. Tons of different food options, including various western fair. lots of seats.

this sound really nice, i travel from cambodia to bangkok quite a lot. dont know anyone but cousins, so it would be great to meet new people.

can we meet at a local vape shop (like one of the vendors on here).

 

I can attest to the On Nut outdoor market ,ive eaten there many times ,Food is good also cheap has drinks and a good atmosphere there.Also vendors here in Thailand dont really have physical shops due to the illegality of selling these products ,but they are legal to own .Also im up for Best Beef which is a few minutes walk the opposite way and across the road .

 

are you guys talking about the beer garden just next to bts on nut? I love this place
