1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

Bizarre experience with a motorcy taxi today.

Flagged one over on Sukhumvit Road, he came over and parked.
I took a quick vape and the look I got was hilarious.

He immediately thought I was inhaling some kind of asthma device and insisted that I was mai sabai and should visit the nearest hospital immediately as he thought the smoke / vapour meant the inhaler was damaged and that I should get a new one without delay...

    Haha

Had some local guy come to our factory for a meeting today.
He was actually the first Thai that I have seen using an e-cig.

It was quite amusing after I first clocked him having a snidy vape as they walked outside to leave.
He seemed to be as equally surprised as I had when I dragged my trusty iTaste out.

I'm still getting used to vaping in public. Definitely felt a bit shy about it at first, but getting less and less so as time passes. I had to bring a friend to the airport last week, and stepped outside for a vape at one point. When I first took it out, I noticed a security guard coming quickly and directly towards me while looking intently at the e-cig. Then for whatever reason, he just stopped and started walking leisurely in another direction, looking away. Maybe he recognized what it was as he got closer. Today I vaped away as I strolled down Sukhumvit from Siam to Chitlom, and getting more comfortable with it. Still get a few odd looks now and again though.

Yep it does definitely get easier.
Has anybody ever vaped on the skywalk below the bts (Siam to Chitlom).

I think I may have witnessed somebody last night on my way home.
I would have thought that would have been a no use area.

Wasn't me last night, but I always vape on the skywalk, and it live in that area. I vape pretty much anywhere with a breeze, openly.

Yeah wasn't me either. I actually took the street (rather than the skywalk) just so I could vape. The skywalk was tempting but I figured best not to because you can't smoke on it.

I have to admit, I'm sure it would feel a bit uncomfortable, but sounds like ryanmacl can deal with it

Having just survived another Songkran, I did spot a few vapers actively vaping during the festivities, and getting extremely wet in the process.

Quite an amusing site, but I'm guessing they now have dead e-cigs, or are there any waterproof tools out there?
