What does the R?4 taste like?

 

He has a new v2 of R?4 that I have steeping now but dripped a small sample and liked it. I may be wrong but he mentioned tobacco, vanilla bean and cake batter. I just had a quick little drip mind you but it tasted like it had some of the standard faux tobacco flavor you find in most tobacco type juices but also a very nice sweetness that came across well for my tastes. I liked it enough to order some more. Current small amount I have now should be finished steeping soon. Have run it through an ultrasonic cleaner session to try to speed that up some.

It's been many months since I had the original so cannot recall the taste very well other than it wasn't bad but at the same time not something I would continue to buy as it didn't meet my flavor preferences.

What is 'ultrasonic cleaner session' @ Scratchy?

I'm no good at describing flavours, but it does resemble the Vanilla Custard somewhat. I actually preferred the original and after 2 days.

 

What I do is put some warm water into an ultrasonic cleaner and then the juice bottles in a zip-lock bag inside to keep the labels intact (bag deflated completely so there isn't any air around the bottles and so the warmth of the water can be in contact with as much of the bottle area as possible) and I run it for about 15 minutes. By that time the water has heated even more. Afterwards I remove the tops of the bottles and do some squeezing the introduce new air and leave aside for hours with cap off. After that I do more of the bottles squeezing then cap and then set aside. Next time I may try tops of bottles off in the ultrasonic cleaner but will watch carefully as I am concerned about condensation/water getting in the bottles or some other mishap.

 

Isn't RY4 a standard for tobacco based flavor ?

 

Don't know the history of the name but it usually is a tobacco + vanilla base flavor.

 

I think the dude that came up with it was called Ruyan. The number indicates the amount of caramel/sweetness.
That's probably completely wrong but it is something along those lines, or maybe not...

 

It sounds so scientifically based, we won't argue with you.

 

Good decision Tibo, no point arguing when we have such a calculated and logical explanation.

 

R?4 is the best one he does, I think, but you need to step it for 10 days.
After that, it keeps getting better and better every time

Update to say that I've gotten somewhat hooked on the R?4-V2 of late. Through time with steeping the "faux tobacco" component has mellowed and the sweetness aspect has come forward some more. Really loving it.

I have two Thai employees who are giving vaping a try. Donated a couple of mods I wasn't using much and they are using Nautilus minis on them. One started with VM's Jamaal + menthol and now has a liking for blueberry donut and the other was vaping the R?4 V2 and is now liking the vanilla custard. I'm not holding my breath that they will but would be nice to see them transition to vaping 100%. Right now it's maybe 50-50 which is still an improvement.

 

A nice gesture from you @Scratchy , that is the best way to "fight" those who want to take us down. Sharing our experiences and helping smokers to quit with humility.

I always said I really don't like tobacco flavor but I have been enjoying Vapor Mist Bogan Butterscotch a lot, this component that mellows the sweetness as you said is something I was expecting. Really liking it.

I might give a shot with this R?4 you are speaking of
