Incidentally, sorry to differ, but I was using the recommendations from the Totally Wicked E Liquid mixing tables- which I have stuck to for about 3 years, but, maybe times are a changing.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to sound condescending, but I haven't been following the latest developments and am interested to know if advice has changed.

'Longtail' you mention that wicking can be a little more demanding- by this do you mean that the wicks, if using cotton, need to be less tight than for a more PG based mix???

VG is muuuuch thicker than PG, so it wicks more slowly. If you're using something that isn't a dripper, you can run into issues with dry hits while chain-vaping because it takes longer for the juice to saturate the wick. Adding PG (or water) into the mix thins it out and helps it wick more easily.

Yes, thanks, I am aware of that- but I was asking about his comment about wicking being more delicate, thanks anyway.

I found that for high to 100% VG I had to loosen the wick OUTSIDE the coil to allow the thicker VG to get up there a touch quicker. With more PG I could make them a little tighter with no ill effects. I was using 100% VG in a Kayfun and am now using it in an Orchid V1. Easier in the Orchid as the wicks are so short they are automatically looser once you have wicked the channels a touch. Just got the V4 today and have yet to try it out.

Best bet in all honesty would be to check out you tube. I will happily help all I can but I learnt the basics from there and adapted to my preferences. Also you can get a good look at the wicking that way as well. All I can do is send you a few photos and try and explain in a post which may not be as clear. But I will get something together for you and send it in a PM.

    To Pierdon,
Go up Suthep road, with Maharaj Hospital on your right, before the Ninmanhaemin turn on the right is a Kasikorn Bank on the left side, immediately after that is a very small soi, I turn into here and park behind the Kasikorn bank.
Union Science is actually 2 shops after the small soi on the same side as the bank but parking outside is impossible.
If you can't find it, I can pay Google Map coordinates.

Yep.I'll sort something out. I don't generally photo my builds etc. so it will take a couple of days to sort out and I will have to strip down the Orchid and start it again for you. At least to the coils.

Don't worry, I'll try when I get the Orchid and see how it goes.
Don't want to ask someone to strip their gear down unnecessarily.

I was going to when I changed wicks. I have a 28G 0.7 in there and want to change it to a 29g 1.0 or 30g 1.5 anyway. Not quite quick enough ramp up for my tastes on a DNA30.
