The one I wanted to try is 'Nasty' Green Ape, but always out of stock I had a brief toke at UK Expo, that was nice..

The 'Nasty' Cush Trap was garbage...

 

I found the error on my Merlin, the 510 airflow pin was not tighten, problem solved hehe

 

Yeah. I'm looking to pick up the Fantasi Lemon but not the ice version. Might try their Apple if I see it.

Storm Vapours on this forum does a really nice Pineapple / Rum called Gaia. Yum!

well i guess i vape so long its hard to recall with what i started .. but i recall that i loved the Taifun GT a lot in the past.

For Tank Atomizers in the past... ... Nautilus, Uwell Crown (still in use), Joyetech UNO, Serpant Mini (still in use), Joyetech eGo One
For Rebuildabe TA in the past .. Kayfun, Taifun GT, loved the Taifun GS,
For Squonk RDAs.... the Haku is the best i tried so far, followed by the Sentinel

For RTA ... those days its mostly the Kayfun 5, followed by the Reload, SMM, and the OBS Engine

what i missing is the extended tank for the SMM (on the vapemail), and another Squonk RDA which is really good would be good as well, tried a few but so far nothing came close to the Haku
so if anybody would recommed something there... just fire away.

 

Try the Kaonashi or Flave 22, for good airflow amount...
More restricted: Haku Venna or KRMA.

All those are in my daily rotation...

My next target is the Skyfall from ESG

 

I've retired all my tanks....
Was a SMM fan (had 4 of them at some time).
Had all possible RTAs but nothing came on par with the SMM for me at that time.

But now, I'm all over squonking.

Own a bunch of high end mech squonkers (Plug, Cloak V2, Holy, Molly, PP Malu, 67Mods Neofet,....) And even more RDAs....

The only regulated I use is my Billet Box, for when I'm driving or out and about....

Also like my MiPod for CBD.....

 

Just got into squonking, got a Haku (clone) with Pulse mech box..

Tried a number of builds, best for this single 18650 box, was for mine 3mm 5 wraps 27 gauge SS316.

Tried Claptons 27 gauge, but ramp up time was slow, and it was eating my batteries away.

But.. a normal round wire coil , of SS316, ramp up time was instantaneous..

The Haku, is ok, but for flavour its ok, not wow.. I had better flavour RDA's years ago, such as Magma,Velocity ..Plumeveil

I hope to find a better flavour chasing RDA, next up is Wasp Nano..

Squape RS and kayfun 5, soon Squape Emotion.
I only used RBA, never tried RDA.
I keep the same wick-coil for a week or 2/3 days depending on the attie.
I use daily kayfun 5 (3 of them) and Squape Rs (3 also).
With the kayfun I can keep the wick for a week before they have a bad taste.
With the Squape I need to change the coil more often (2/3 days).
I'm used to coil them both so I do it very quickly and I don't have any leaking problem (sometimes a bit of condensation with the kayfun).
I vape in MTL at 11/15 watts with single coil from 0.5 to 1 ohm (SS 26 and 28 awg).
I'm going back to the free-vaping world this summer and I ordered 2 squape Emotion (Ulton clones).
I have been wanting to have it for nearly a year but I didn't want to take the risk to import it to LOS.
One is already waiting for me in France and can't wait to try it.

Haku needs an exotic coil and correct placement.
Then it's a killer....
Try Alien SS, legs up and level the top of coil with the AF "plot".
That's where I place mine on my Cruiser or my Venna and it's excellent.

I have retired :
- square R,
- first generation ego and kangers with already made coils.
Not retired but not using much :
- griffin 25 from geek vape because it's a double coil DTL to blow big clouds (not what I like the most but nice from time to time).
Not using because of broken glass :
- Tayfun gt3.

Alien SS is good, I just change to Alien NI90 RAM 24GA Fused Clapton, OMG, this wire rocks.

And my singel build deck on my Merlin Mine, was so much better then the dual coil deck, no leak, and flavour is close to the Serpent SMM.

I forget, my Innokin ARES is also retired, the airflow sucks and the deck is only good with Kanthal 26GA, you put a clapton in there it will not give a good vape.

 

According to your picture, That's Fused Clapton....
Alien has a wavy pattern on the outside, and has better wicking properties compared to regular Fused.
If you are interested to try Alien, I can build for you.

 

Yes you are right, but that build is on the Merlin not the Ares have so many different wire and coils so I got confused some times, especially late in the night, but thank you for your offer, I have 2 spools of Alien wire

The Merlin with a singel deck is like the Innokin ARES, very little difference, I put on the dual deck again, no leaking and its vape much better, great flavour and big clouds compared to the singel coil deck. IMO all this RTA tanks is a waste of money if you have a good atty on a Sqounk and one good mod with a Serpent SMM, IMO. My left hand always reach for the Sqounk, and my right hand reach for my smok mod with the SMM.

 

In terms of avoiding purchases I think the Drop Solo I might fail on. I see 3F have a Skyfall clone cooking soon too. Saw a couple of reviews of it and the engineering and quality looks superb, but for €160 I wouldn't be so happy with an AFC that looks such a bitch to use with no knurling or engraving on the top ring to assist. Maybe I expect too much for the money!

In terms of things I think I would have retired and luckily dodged spending the money on, an ultrasonic cleaner is foremost in my mind. Likely great if you're cleaning quantities of gear often I just don't. I nearly bought an atty stand too but for now I'll stick with my WBT (patent pending) stands:
