1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

Where next for decent juices?

Well i don't want to count any chickens before they've hatched, but earlier tonight i emptied my Kayfun with a little leftover Highbrow Pear juice in it and filled it with DIY Orange Dream Bar from MtBaker. The results - so far - are very encouraging. I'm not sure any Orange juice is going to be an all day vape for me, but this stuff is hugely promising as a secondary juice. Certainly the best experience i've had to date from a DIY juice. I'm not tasting anything of the dodgy taste i mentioned above and it's hitting the spot.
I think perhaps a problem for me has been my instance on trying to replicate tobacco flavours, and many of the juices i've attempted have been tobaccoish. Alas all the tobacco flavours i've been playing with taste like hay which amplifies the other tastes in the stock juice i don't like. Perhaps i need to forget about tobacco and accept that vaping is not the same as smoking and look elsewhere for flavours? In the meantime, this juice is at least as good as those i've been vaping recently. And it's home made.:very good:

i have only used it with drippers. not much in the way of gunk but that may be due to the fact i dry burn every few days.

How long did you let your tobacco flavors steep? I don't vape tobacco, but from what I read it can take up to 3 weeks to get a good flavor, that is with the top off and shaking it from time to time.

They've had plenty of time to steep. I actually googled the problem of tobacco juices having a hay-like grassy taste and there were many others who said the same thing. Some suggested that tobacco was meant to be smoked, and that vaping it was unlikely to simulate the experience of smoking. I think that may well be the case. None of the "tobacco" juices i've had from the likes of Halo tasted anything like tobacco to me. Perhaps my home made tobacco does taste like it, and that i don't like the taste of it because i'm not smoking it.

What I paid in postage for the last 3 USA orders:
    HALO- 30ml x 8 bottles - $24.75
    GLV - 50ml x 4 bottles - $14.30
    MBV - 30ml x 6 bottles - $16.25

That was for USPS First Class Mail International Parcels. I think the prices quoted by spacemonk would be what FEDEX or UPS would charge. Not necessary unless you need it delivered quickly. USPS usually takes 2-3 weeks to get to me.

As I have explained vendors send them out in bulk so it's cheaper and they have a corporate rates.

Halo, GLV and MBV all have discount codes you can find on the web for 10% off (which helps cover the postage cost).
Currently Halo is offering 15% off and MBV is 17.76% off.

Good time to buy some juice! :very good:
