Where would you live in Thailand

So who takes care of your house in Uttaradit when you are not there?

 

Sister-in-law lives across the soi from the house so she keeps an eye on it for us.

 

I somewhat regret I did not do the same 10 years ago. Thailand is at least a proper country.

I wonder how the people who live more on the countryside fullfill their needs to sometimes find western foodstuff. We German for example love our bread.

 

Located on the far country side, 50km from the nearest Province town, I am not looking for western food (not available anyway), but do not miss it too much

And yet, as French national, useless to say how important is the French bread in our culture, the french baguette with french cheese or french dry sausage... Have forgotten all!

Not fully exact in fact, always happy when I am receiving my Christmas package from father every year, full of french food as listed above

While I am getting a bit fed up of Bangkok, I don't see myself in the countryside. I would then choose a place close to the sea. I have always find Huahin attractive for being quiet and "clean". I could do with Krabi as well I guess.

 

I'd be in the countryside but I have a family who can not. I like Krabi, too. It's possible there to live a bit quieter and still have some infrastructure.
Bangkok is too much for me. Then I can better stay in Singapore .... or Jakarta, or Manila, or anywhere in a big Asian city, somewhat similar + faceless. Bangkok is better I know but still.

 

Am i huahin leaving tmr wanna beer ?
