Yihi SX350J/SXMini Firmware update

Just a long shot, but do you still have this file? as the site is down and yihi doesnt have the file. already emailed them but they just asked me to get the new q mini or g class, which i already have......

Need to upgrade by VF SX though....

I do have the file but its over 50mb so uploading it will take me a while if you want it. Be aware I attempted several times to upgrade mine using it but it never worked.

 

If I'm wrong please direct tell me,
I know sure that if you're vaping at the sea level (nice france) and your home is in the hills (1000 meter) that the vap will be different because of the pressure in your tank (old tanks orchid kayfun leak, (new tanks as obs engine anti leaking, I just don't know)
but I don't understand why using TC at 250 degree C in a air con room at 20 degree C or vap in the parking at 40 degree C, will make dry hits problems (only 10% of the selected temperature of the coil)

I don't believe pressure has anything to do with this. If you are using a high VG based liquid, at 20C it will become less viscous and flow a lot slower from the tank through the wick which gives you a much higher chance of having a dry hit. At 40C, the VG will be much more viscous and flow a lot easier/faster from the tank through the wick reducing your chance for a dry hit.

Sorry, I meant the other way around. more viscous at 20C, less viscous at 40C.

You're right, I was never thinking that viscosity of glycerine vary so much, (3 at 20 degre 1.5 at 40)

I never notice that,maybe because I vape 50/50 liquid and it should not so significant.

 

If you are vaping 50/50, it shouldn't be as much of an issue. What I can say is that I think air pressure shouldn't play much of a factor either. At higher altitudes, air pressure is lower. If you started with a half full tank at sea level that you've been vaping on, you should have negative air pressure inside the tank relative to the surrounding atmosphere. This is what holds your liquid in the tank and prevents it from leaking. As you go up in altitude, your tank will eventually equalize with the surrounding air pressure and as you keep going will become positive to the surrounding air pressure which is what would cause your tank to leak. If you have ever taken a half full tank on an airplane with you and ended up with a puddle of liquid in your carry on, this is a prime example. However, if you started with an empty tank, filled it at altitude, you should have the same results as vaping at sea level. Disclaimer: I'm not an atmospheric scientist or a physicist, but I think this is how it works. If I'm wrong, I'd welcome any correction.
