Thw video is from a guy and goes buy the name of thaivape on you tube. Agree the looped music get a bit annoying after a while. Fund the video while looking for infos on the tank before scratchy pointed me to his post. Think i will get myself on of these.

Not yet, Rick- I ordered a cheap copy from FT and once I get the chance to try that I will go back to the original- I'm hoping that the clone will be a 1:1 and I want to check the fit in a couple of places.
Swapped O rings throughout with no improvement.

I just wanted more airflow to be honest which at the time was only available on dual-coilers.

@Tibo and others, here's another wicking method (bunny ears) that has worked extremely well for Grimm Green and fairly low ohm builds (approx 0.3) and chain vaping. I might give it a go out of curiosity. Starting at 6.30 mark:

BTW, he's really likes it. PB with a thumbs-up but was a little indifferent because he hadn't an easy time wicking it and he didn't like the prebuilt coil as much as a Subtank (I only use the RBA piece). BTW, for anyone watching the PB review, you do not have to remove the drip tip section to refill. Can keep it installed while unscrewing tank top section.

Thanks for the share @Scratchy , I will try it for my next rewick.

The "trick" I was talking about in the other thread isn't so much of a trick than a setting I would say.
I will try to explain :

The chimney comes in two parts. One that screw on the deck and a second part that screws on the top of the first part.

Before, I used to screw down the first part all the way, making sure the atty was firing THEN I would screw down the second part which is attach to the top part. The result was that it closes down the juice hole too much.

Now, I only screw the first part just to catch the thread of the deck, then I screa down the second part with the top attach. When the second part catch the first part, everything goes down altogether and when it stops (length of the tank), the airholes are left much more opened !

No more dry hits even with high VG, definitively an improvement !

Using my phone here so hard to review but someone had posted before a video review for this tank or another like the goblin that also showed only partially screwing down the bottom chimney piece. I had questioned that but sounds like maybe they did it to address difficulties like you had. Interesting and I may give it a go if I ever have wicking issues. Thanks for explaining, Tibo!

Well, I tried the bunny-ears method and found it restricted the airflow too much for my liking and also made it turbulent. Seemed to wick OK though.

Re-wicked Trevor Jones style and more aggressively cut away the rayon wick tails compared to in the past. Particularly the bottom areas that would be closest to the air holes. She's wicking just as well as my last build but the difference I've noticed after a good chain vape session is that the atty is not getting as hot as before (before the bunny ears experiment) and there's a touch more airflow.

I started to use the Trevor Jones method when I got my first Goblin, and it has worked just as well on an Orchid, Cthulhu and now the Zephyrus. No leaking or dry hits.
I usually coil the Zephyrus around 0.3-0.4 ohm and wick with japanese cotton. What I have found is that the Zephyrus is not so forgiving as the two other attys with regard to the wicking, but I do like it a lot.

I trend to go with what's referred to as Trevor Jones's wicking on quite a few of the smaller Dual Coil RTAs- and, generally it does the trick .

@Darth Vaper check out the video in Scratchy's post #22. Around the 30 minute mark I think.

Had a few sneaky pulls on @Tibo's Zephyrus at the VM. Nice little atty but same issue I had with the Goblin, I can feel a fine spray of juice when I pull on it which I attribute to my vaping style as nobody else seem to complain about anything similar.

I had that too with my new wick, I probably cut the wick too short and too much juice are going up in the chamber. I don't have that on the Goblin or the Zephyrus before.

Maybe all my attempts at the "Trevor Jones wicking method" were fails then. I find that hard to believe :D considering how simple it is.
