3mm diameter gets the coils very close to the chamber, resulting in getting the atty super hot :( So far the 2.5mm is working the best for me.

Is that because you are making Dual coils, Tibo--surely a single coil 3mm dia would fit OK??

Yes but it is a dual coil deck. Building it in single coil option won't give you more space. Unless you managed to put the coil above the poles but I doubt there is any more room up there anyway.

Add placing a single coil over the hole, it can be centred depending on the holes used through the ceramic base.

A couple of photos would be awesome--only really interested in how you centre the coil--I can see the larger single hole and the double smaller holes--obviously pos/neg legs go into one of each, and a bit of tweaking should bring the coil central , I guess.
Then, how much wick material to use--a good amount, I guess--bit like when doing the SubTank heads, or the AnyVape Fury Tank head.

OK so its not quite centred, but you get the idea.

Got it--once you've dropped one leg down the larger hole, the way you've built your coil will determine which of the 2 smaller holes is easiest to drop the other leg down--neat, thanks for the photo.

    A fresh one.

At this stage, check for air flow, too much cotton and it will be tight.

Well, it's quite a tricky little number getting the leg to go down the smaller of the 2 holes, I had to help it by sticking a needle down first, but due to the tight fit there isn't much room to square it up, so if it's not central there's not much can be done- here's my first attempt, but I hope they improve.[IMG]

7 wraps seems quite a lot, or high ohms. But it all comes down to the vape.

Yes, my mistake, I was going for possibly around 0.9 or more and this one comes out at 0.6- it will not get much use before I try again now I see roughly what's what. Thanks again.
