1. Welcome to Thailand Vapers, an English language forum for members in Thailand and the rest of Asia to talk about vaping.
Commonly referred to as e-cigarettes, vaping is really about the use of personal vaporizers (mods) and atomizers (tanks, clearos, RBAs, RDAs, RTAs) filled with e-liquid.
Are you looking to get started or an old hand at vaping? Everyone is welcome here so sign up today and talk vaping with us!

You're wasting your money on disposable vape gear

    This is epic, man !

I feel like I am watching a review about vinyls ^^

This is an eye opener for me honestly, thanks Talen for the share.

I realize how spoil I am with my Hana clone in hands.. When he comments about how much vapor he got on the first ecig he tried, I thought he was being sarcastic !

Really put things into perspective and I stand my point more than ever, you don't need a high end equipment to start vaping.

If some did it using those sticks, it is because it works.

But spoiled as we are, who will go through the hassle of habing a device that only last a couple of weeks nowadays ?

When I read complains about a coil lasting only a week, when those entire ecig had 2 weeks life use, that makes you think twice ^^

Thanks Talen, that's a helluva reality check. Back then was the vaping Dark Ages compared to the equipment available to us now. I had to laugh when he said that the vapor extended for at least three feet...priceless!

    The parrot is pretty cool!

Mash, I figured you were just yanking our chains a little bit...it's all good!
As John Lennon said, "whatever gets you through the night, it's alright, it's alright."

It was really weird watching that video again...I remember watching it the first time and another video he did on the epic joytec 510...the 510 literally was the provari of the day. When I got my first 510 set up I bought 2 -600 mah black batteries a box of 5 -510 attys and a mess of blank cartridges you could fill yourself...and a handy dandy aluminium box that was a charger. You charged the box then you could charge a battery on the go while holding another complete ecig in it.

The coil in the 510 atomizer wasn't really coiled it was a bent piece of heavy ass kanthal....maybe 18 or 16 gauge....when we realized we could drip straight onto it it was like heaven because we could produce more vapor....just as much as a real cigarette.

It's amazing how far vaping has come in such a small amount of time and 90% of the advances have come from the users themselves.

Another video...the younger Grim Green showing the use of a 510 atty on the newly released Screwdriver mod. The screwdriver was the first real mod made, there were various funky box mods made from altoids tins and such but this was a real product for sale made by a vaper....and everyone wanted it.

And knowing what you know now, would you spend that much on a new device or recommend a friend to do so with the knowledge that he too would save a lot of money and stress?

I would have my friend start with a Kanger Mini and a VV V3 at max.

if money doesnt matter i would recommend then to get a Hana Mods DNA30 Clone with some Aerotank / Nautilus as a starting device, you cant go wrong with that setup and its true you can skip a lot of crappy devices

Am I the only one who has noticed that the owners of provari and VS DNA 20/30s have stayed out of this discussion?

I think we all know why

I bought it in France actually, and like it for various quality:
    - small size (18350)
    - very good building quality and reliability (Germany is famous for this)
    - simple design
    - WV (vs VV only for Provari)

In summary, it is small, nice and working good without any issue ;-)

Anyway, going to google the new Provari as I was not aware it is finally released!
